Support
Munin is a voice-notes app for iPhone that records, transcribes, and summarizes entirely on-device — no account, no cloud upload by default, no telemetry.

Does Munin really work without an internet connection?
Yes. After the one-time model setup, recording, transcription, summaries, and search all work in Airplane Mode — recording, transcribing, and summarizing all run on your iPhone's own silicon, not on a server.
What is the one-time model download?
The first time you use Munin, it downloads the on-device transcription model (roughly 90–216 MB, sized to your device) — a static file, identical for every user, like a keyboard language pack. You can optionally also install a compact on-device summarization model. Both are one-time downloads; after that, everything runs locally.
How does the 14-day free trial work?
New subscribers get a 14-day free trial, device-local, before billing starts. After the trial, Munin is $4.99/month or $34.99/year — cancel anytime from your Apple ID subscription settings; there's no separate cancellation flow inside the app.
Is iCloud sync on by default?
No. iCloud sync is off unless you explicitly turn it on in Settings. If you do enable it, your notes sync end-to-end encrypted through your private iCloud, and the app shows you the metadata implications before you opt in.
How do I export or delete my data?
Every note can be exported as Markdown, PDF, text, audio, or a zip file, from the note's share menu. To delete a note, move it to Trash; it's permanently erased (audio, transcript, summary, action items, and search index entries) after 30 days, or immediately if you empty Trash. Because everything lives only on your device, uninstalling the app also removes everything Munin ever stored.
Which iPhones does Munin support?
iOS 17 and later. Every supported device gets on-device transcription and summaries; newer devices with Apple Intelligence use Apple's on-device models for faster, more consistent summaries.
